Omega Battlemech. Miniature based on artwork by mecha-master.deviantart.com/.
isn't this mech derived from R&D into a 110 ton mech that resulted in the ENTIRE R&D staff being executed for "treasonous incompetence?"
That is amazing!
Would you, by any chance, be willing to sell this?
Amazing! I love the paintjob!
just curious, how much did this commision cost you?
Cool stuff! How big is the min? Great use of washes in there.
Damn, looks nice. Mecha-Master was right. I like...
That's is just too cool!
I envy you your epic shading and dry brush skills, sir! This actually makes me want to drag out the miniatures again!
You should! With all of the information available on YouTube you should be able to learn new things and improve your skills in no time.
I don't believe that I used any drybrushing on this mini. It's a technique that I do use on occasion but this is mostly airbrush, shading/weathering with Citadel Shades, and a bit of edge highlighting.
Wow. That's simply aesome.
Thank you for all of the super-positive comments! I really like this piece but I'm still surprised at how much attention it's getting.
OK I SO want that figurine with a custom paint job and wish I could find all my other figurines and get them fixed up. VERY NICE!!!
*Head implodes from the epic awesomeness*
Talk about meaning business, you really have done the original art work justice here
I want one! I want one right NAOU!!!
that's my baby!
Yep. I had a lot of fun with this piece. After doing the initial paint I had to go through my old decal box to find a few items to really finish the thing off. It's sporting a handful of decals from an 1/72nd scale F-14 model kit.
